Parents reaching 'substance-using teens' GROUP
The PRSUT group (Parents Reaching Substance-Using Teens) is being offered by the Addictions Support Program in partnership with the Youth Corrections/Youth Services Program of Eastern Health. This group is an education and support group for parents and caregivers who are expressing concern around their teens’ substance abuse.
This group start Wednesday, May 13, and meets weekly from 7pm to 9 pm, until July 1. The group meets at the Rowan Center, Building 532, Roosevelt Avenue, Pleasantville. Parents interested should contact Central Intake for Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Addiction Services at 777-2200. Informational poster is available below...

Home Schooling
Parents who wish to educate a child in a home school setting are required to make an application to the Director of Education, Eastern School District, requesting that the child be exempted from regular attendance at school by reason of being under efficient instruction at home. This program operates under the direction of the Principal of the District School's Alternate program.
